Participate in improving wound care across the WWLHIN!

Dear !*FIRST_NAME*!

The Waterloo Wellington LHIN is working with Colleaga to enhance our virtual innovation community. Your experience, knowledge, insights and creativity are our greatest assets in creating new ways to make it easier for patients to receive the care they need.

Annually, wounds affect thousands of patients in the Waterloo Wellington area, impacting their quality of life, their care, and creating potentially avoidable costs for our health care system. We want to explore the issues you face in managing patients with wounds who are transitioning from hospital to community and between providers in various care settings. Our Challenge team is led by Lee-Ann Murray, our Wound Care Challenge Sponsor, Sabrina Martin and Helen Arputhanathan who will evaluate the input and may reach out to you for further ideas. The Challenge runs from Monday November 12th for two weeks.

In the first step of this Challenge, we invite you to use the Colleaga virtual innovation platform to help us understand problems in assessing wounds. Click on this button below to register on the platform (if you have not previously done so) and we will add your name to the Challenge participants list.

We appreciate your time and your enthusiasm in working with us to build a WWLHIN innovation community and improve the management of wounds in the WWLHIN. We hope that you enjoy working in this collaborative way and look forward to your thoughts.

For any support on the Challenge or the platform, please contact our Innovation Sherpa, Robyn Berridge, robynb@colleaga.org.

Kind regards,
