Introducing Our Newest Team Member

We are pleased to introduce Alex Gockhul (pronounced "Go cool"), the newest team member of the Smith Falconer Financial Group. Alex came to us having been a Customer Service Representative at CIBC for two years. But what she found really compelling was the investment side of the business. She came in keen to learn and understood the demands from compliance in our industry today. With that, she set about learning and understanding the need for completing administrative projects within ever-changing regulations. She is also furthering her industry education by completing the Canadian Securities Course.
Since joining us, Alex has been engaged with our team in a workshop that involved the Strengths Finder and Kolbe assessment processes. This has highlighted her natural ability to provide organization and discipline, which she has put to use already by taking over responsibility for updating our website and encouraging our clients to set up on-line access and "go paperless". Alex has also set up her own processes for handling much of our client account administration.
When not at work, Alex enjoys zip-lining, kick-boxing and hosting costume parties. She also enjoys volunteering with the "Out of the Cold" organization at an urban church location. She is regularly chosen to assist with event co-ordination for team and office initiatives.
