Q1 2017 Perspective Newsletter
We may all be "scratching our heads" about the outcome of the U.S. Presidential Election and the resulting market over the last two months, but we think it is more important now than ever to maintain significant portfolio exposure to U.S. markets. With U.S. equity markets representing more than 40% of global market capitalization, the performance potential is simply too significant to ignore.
On page 4 in our Q1 2017 Perspective newsletter, we highlight this topic in the article, U.S. Presidential Election: Preliminary Thoughts. Although political risk can impact market performance, the long-term value of company shares is driven by fundamentals and valuations.
